Basketball
Micro-Mini basketball is for grades K thru 2ndand will start the 1st week in January. This is a great introductory course to the skills of basketball. These little b-ballers will be learning the fundamentals and having a great time putting their excess energy to good use! Kids will receive a shirt and game day will consists of a 30 minute practice followed by a 30 minute game. The game is instructional, and coaches will referee the games.
Rules
- All participating children will be OLOH students
- Teams will be randomly assigned
- Both boys and girls on the same teams
- Basketball nets will be lowered
- Players on defense will stay inside the key
- Have fun
Soccer
Micro-Mini soccer is an intramural co-ed league consisting of grades K – 3rd. Teams are randomly assigned, with two leagues composed of kindergarten and first grade in the first league and 2nd – 3rd in the other league. All games will be played on Saturday mornings at OLOH soccer fields and children will receive a game shirt.
Cheerleading

Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade
Cheerleading for Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade begins in late December or early January. Practices will be held once or twice a week. The K thru 2nd Grade squad(s) will cheer for the micro-mini basketball games that are held on Saturday mornings in the OLOH School gym (Fieldhouse).
Cheerleading squads will be split according to the amount of sign-ups.
Cheerleaders do standard sideline cheers, a dance at halftime and cheers between the quarters. They learn a little bit about basketball too!
There is no tumbling or pyramids. There are no try-outs so all are welcome & encouraged to join!
Track
This is for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade students. Second graders who are more competitive or athletic may also run with our Competitive Track Team. Practice are generally an hour and competitions are always at Timber Creek high school on Saturday mornings 8am -9pm. , Micro Mini track is a great opportunity to get the kids outside for some exercise. They will have fun running, it is non-competitive and the children run shorter events.
