Do I need my child to try out for the team?

All students that want to play a sport will be able to play. Our program mission is to encourage the love of sports for a lifetime of play. No child will be “cut” from a team.

There are evaluations for volleyball and basketball in order to place students on the appropriate level team.

What do I need to play a sport?

For JV and Varsity play (all athletes in grades 6th-8th), students need to submit a physical form to the nurses’ office.

In addition, any student who does not maintain a general average of “C”, or who has disciplinary issues, may not participate in extra-curricular activities. Reinstatement will be at the discretion of the teacher with the administrator.

Can my child play multiple sports?

Yes! We encourage students to play as many sports as they desire. However, due to scheduling, sometimes it is difficult to play multiple sports in the same season. This is not prohibited and is left to the discretion of the parent and student.

Do all sports teams have cuts?

No sports teams have cuts. All students that want to play a sport will be able to play. Our program mission is to encourage the love of sports for a lifetime of play.

There are evaluations for volleyball and basketball in order to place students on the appropriate level team.
