Dear Parents,

During Back to School Night we asked each parent to sign a letter addressed to the Governor, Senator and Representative asking them to increase the nonpublic transportation ceiling cost which has not been increased since 2007.

We are grateful to all our families who helped in this initiative, however, we believe that more needs to be done to motivate the Governor and legislature to make this increase a reality.

Many of you lost bussing this year because the cost was not increased for this year. In an effort to continue to make contact with the Governor and the legislators it is imperative that they hear how this has impacted your family. So we are asking all our families but especially those who have lost bussing over the past two years to write a personal letter to the Governor sharing your story how this has affected your family and the sacrifices you have made because you want your child/children to attend Catholic School.

Your letters should be mailed directly to the Governor at the following address:

The Honorable Chris Christie
Office of the Governor
P.O. Box 001
Trenton, New Jersey 08625

Your family may not have been affected by this but as we move into the future there is always the possibility that more of our families will experience the loss of transportation.

I believe that the more we make contact with those we have elected to represent all families in New Jersey the better we will be in the long run.

If you would like additional information or facts please let me know.

                                                                                    Sister Paula M. Randow,Principal
